Following their showdown with the Hornets, the Celtics will remain in Boston to host the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.
The Celtics have been able to remain one of the elite teams in the NBA due to the play of Jaylen Brown.
The former Cal star has put an MVP-caliber season with averages of 29.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 48.2% from the field and 34.9% from three-point range in 54 games.
Tatum turned 28 on Tuesday.
